In the late misty autumn, on the days around Halloween, this creepy fellow appears. It snaps at unwary passers-by and small dogs, which it uses as "fertilizer". It is regarded as the revenge of the trees to the dogs ... After a few nights something emerges that could be mistaken for a bloody hand from the grave, but in truth it is the sprout of Ceppo Pungente.
